Dispatch Professional

This dispatch position works in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and requires excellent customer service skills, sound judgment, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is a remote position.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:

• This position is Monday – Friday 8am-5pm Mountain Standard Time
• Communicate with customers, quote rates, and provide up to date information regarding loads.
• Coordinate loading and unloading arrangements with drivers and customers.
• Input orders efficiently and accurately – attention to detail is crucial.
• Negotiate freight rates and terms with carriers
• Vet new carrier partners; Review FMCSA ratings, confirm insurance
• Monitor driver progress from pick up to delivery
• Dispatch freight daily by phone and operating systems
• Willing to work weekends as needed (currently this is very rare)
