About Corgi
Corgi is vertically integrating the entire insurance industry. We design, underwrite, price, and issue insurance directly: no brokers, no third-party administrators. Insurance is the largest unautomated industry in financial services, and we're rebuilding it from the ground up using AI. We've raised $350M+ from Kindred, TCV, and others to do so.
Building something great requires working hard. We are in the office 7 days a week. We are meritocratic with very high standards. If you don't meet them, you'll get cut. But if you deliver, you have unlimited scope to grow.
About the Role
We're hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the systems our operations run on.
Insurance is an operations problem. Quoting, underwriting, binding, claims, renewals, every one of those is still done by people moving data between systems by hand. Your job is to delete that work. You'll build the internal tooling our underwriting, claims, and policy admin teams live in, the customer-facing platform our policyholders log into, and the integrations that connect both to the rest of the market.
This role is based in our London office.
What You'll Do

Ship to production in your first week.
Build internal tools that remove hours of manual work from real people's days
Own features end to end: schema, API, interface, deployment.
Build and maintain integrations with insurer systems, rating engines, document generation, and third-party data feeds.
Use AI to move faster than a team our size should be able to.

Who You Are

Strong software engineering fundamentals.
High ownership and relentless execution. You get things done.
Product and business intuition.
You have taste in interfaces. You can look at a screen and tell that it's wrong, then fix it.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of software engineering work experience.
Experienced in TypeScript, Python, React, FastAPI, Django, Flask, AWS and beyond.
Comfortable across the full stack rather than specialised into one end of it.
Very fluent with AI development tooling
Built personal, startup, or professional projects.
Experience in fintech, insurance and workflow automation is helpful but not required.
