SayGames is one of the largest mobile game publishers with over 8 billion installs across platforms and 200+ games in our portfolio.
We help teams of all sizes release great games and reach millions of players around the world.
Whaler Games is a small team of 12 talented and passionate guys who have been making games since 2020. They love mobile games and a systematic approach, actively use analytics for decision-making.
They made a hit – Pirate Raid , an action game with RPG elements that’s been downloaded over 11 million times. Right now, they’re working hard on a new game – Jelly Hole and are looking to expand their team with a Level Designer .
Responsibilities
- Design levels with quality metrics and data in mind.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, collect and analyze references.
- Develop and document level design methodology.
- Work with analytics, formulate hypotheses, and test them.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in level design.
- Ability to work with level curves.
- Experience in Unity or other editors (Cocos, Unreal Engine).
- Data-driven approach: using analytics to improve levels (requesting metrics, analyzing drop-offs, conversions, etc.).
- Rich gaming experience and love for mobile games, be aware of the state of the mobile industry, game industry trends.
