Member of Technical Staff, MLE

About the Role We're looking for a Member of Technical Staff, Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in Singapore. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning systems and contribute to the development of advanced AI technologies. Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models and systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions Conduct research and experimentation to improve model performance Implement and deploy machine learning solutions in production environments Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering practices Stay updated with the latest developments in machine learning and AI Requirements Strong background in machine learning and deep learning Proficiency in Python and relevant ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) Experience with large-scale model training and deployment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with version control systems (Git) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field Nice-to-Haves Experience with natural language processing and large language models Published research or contributions to open-source ML projects Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) Knowledge of distributed systems and parallel computing Experience with MLOps and model deployment pipelines About Cohere Cohere is a leading AI company focused on developing advanced language models and AI solutions.
