Retoucher

Remote position (only for professionals based in Argentina or Uruguay)

RYZ Labs is looking for a Pre-Press Retoucher to join one of our client’s teams, from the sports merchandising industry. The ideal candidate will translate card designs into beautiful, error-free, and quality-checked forms that are ready for the press. This professional will support imaging, color correction, and retouching of card images/designs in line with the Pre-Press team’s commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate is design-savvy and organized, exhibits strong attention to detail, and brings deep experience in imaging and retouching operations. Candidates with a passion for sports and entertainment will likely find themselves a strong cultural fit.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all images meet color accuracy and consistency requirements
• Maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all visual materials (e.g., images, graphics) align with the highest standards of the business and meet the specific requirements of each project
• Work cross-functionally with photographers, designers, and other stakeholders to achieve desired retouching results for various projects
• Identify and resolve issues related to image quality, resolution, and/or color accuracy
• Foster a collaborative, efficient, and communication-first work environment
• Stay informed on industry best practices, technologies, and software
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3-5 years) in imaging and retouching operations
• Proficiency in imaging and retouching software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or other specialized color correction/retouching tools
• Strong knowledge of color theory and color management
• Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail
