It lost the most ground on pay transparency.
See the breakdown
Description depth20 / 20How much the posting actually says about the work, measured in characters of real text.
Remote clarity15 / 15Whether "remote" means anywhere, or is quietly restricted to one country.
Role specificity6 / 10Whether the listing is tagged well enough to tell what the role actually is.
Corroboration5 / 10Whether more than one source carries this listing.
Freshness4 / 15How recently it was posted. Older postings are likelier to be filled or abandoned.
Pay transparency0 / 25A published salary range, worth more than any other single factor because it is what a candidate cannot find out without applying.
-10 Ghost-job penalty —
Deducted for signals that this posting may not be a real, currently-open role — staleness, repeated relisting, or talent-pool language.
Every figure above is arithmetic over the posting itself — its salary
field, its text, its age, its tags and how many sources carry it.

You're the technical leader for Internal Tools, owning architecture, quality, and engineering standards for the tools our internal teams rely on every day. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll bring recommendation, ranking, and other data-driven techniques to bear on how our tools work, and push for smarter automation wherever it saves people time. We're looking for someone adept in AI-collaborative development who can define the right problems and balance human and technology intelligence to solve them thoughtfully. You'll work directly with the Engineering Manager, who brings product requirements and technical vision; you turn them into specs, system designs, and implementation plans. You're the team's top technical voice while also being a high-output IC. Expect roughly a 80/20 split between hands-on coding and technical leadership. You're the technical leader for Internal Tools, owning architecture, quality, and engineering standards for the tools our internal teams rely on every day.
