QA Engineer (Web Agency)

Our product development follows Agile methodologies with weekly releases and collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Slack. As a QA Engineer at TyrAds, you will play a critical role in scaling our agency services and Tyr-Tracking infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional technical teams to design, build, and maintain automated and manual testing pipelines. Your core focus will be expanding test coverage, automating End-to-End (E2E) flows for both UI and APIs, performing root-cause analysis on production issues, and ensuring flawless user acceptance testing. Job requirements Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on software quality assurance experience Test Automation: Strong expertise in UI and API automation using Playwright. Manual & API Testing: Proficiency in manual testing workflows and API testing tools (Postman or similar). Database Validation: Solid knowledge of querying and validating data using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Specialized Testing: Prior experience or strong familiarity with financial reporting testing and web-based application testing. Documentation & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to create clean, detailed test case documentation, UAT logs, and structured root-cause analysis reports. Nice-to-Haves Prior experience working within the ad tech, affiliate marketing, or agency tech ecosystem. Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated tests. Job responsibilities Key Responsibilities & Core Goals Automation & Test Coverage: Build automated testing suites to achieve at least 20% automation coverage across the Agency web platforms and Tyr-Tracking (API & UI). E2E Test Execution: Develop and implement End-to-End automation flow scenarios for API and 5 for UI using Playwright. Testing & Validation: Execute manual and automated testing, database validation (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and specialized financial reporting tests. Quality Assurance & Documentation: Maintain thorough test case documentation, UAT documentation, and clear system architecture knowledge bases for Agency and Tyr-Tracking services. Production Stability: Perform root cause analysis on production issues and work directly with engineering teams to resolve bugs rapidly. Cross-Service Testing: Develop a deep product knowledge across services to execute seamless end-to-end testing across multiple interconnected internal systems.
