We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our data visualization strategy. You will design, develop, and optimize complex, high-performance Tableau dashboards. As the SME, you will establish best practices, govern server architecture, and mentor internal teams to foster a data-driven culture.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-quality, scalable Tableau dashboards aligned to business priorities
- Translate stakeholder needs into structured analytics solutions and intuitive visual experiences
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and leadership teams, shaping data-driven decisions
- Champion data visualization best practices, design standards, and governance frameworks
- Lead enablement efforts (training, mentorship, playbooks) to scale Tableau adoption
- Partner with data teams to ensure robust data models, semantic consistency, and performance optimization
Core Skills & Capabilities
- Advanced Tableau expertise (calculated fields, LODs, performance tuning)
- Strong data wrangling & integration skills (SQL, Tableau Prep / Alteryx)
- Exceptional data visualization & design thinking (clean, intuitive, user-centric dashboards)
- Analytical & problem-solving mindset with ability to generate actionable insights
- Executive communication & storytelling skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with enterprise Tableau environments (Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud, governance, security)
