About this opportunity:

ELITS is looking for aAWS Virtual Workplace Engineerto support the design, implementation, and operation of a modernVirtual Engineering Workplacehosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This role is focused on deliveringhigh-performance virtual desktop environments for engineering users with demanding technical workloads. You will work closely with customer stakeholders, cloud teams, infrastructure teams, and end users to ensure a reliable, secure, and responsive virtual workplace experience.

What you will do:

•  Design, deploy, configure, and supportAWS-based virtual desktop environments for engineering and high-performance user workloads.

•  Build and maintainhigh-performance virtual desktop solutions that support graphics-intensive applications, engineering tools, and demanding compute requirements.

•  Optimize platform performance acrosscompute, graphics processing, storage, networking, and user experience.

•  Support integration withidentity, access management, security, storage, and enterprise network environments.

•  Troubleshoot performance, availability, connectivity, and application issues across the virtual desktop platform.

•  Monitor platform health, capacity, cost, and service availability, and recommend improvements.

•  Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

The skills you bring:

•  Minimumseven (7) years of relevant experience with aBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent applicable experience.

•  Expert-level experience designing, implementing, and supportingVirtual Engineering Workplaceorvirtual desktop infrastructure solutions.

•  Strong hands-on experience withAmazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services and enterprise cloud environments.

•  Experience deliveringhigh-performance virtual desktop environments for engineering, design, graphics-intensive, or high-performance workloads.

•  Strong understanding of virtual desktopperformance, including compute, graphics processing units, storage, networking, latency, and capacity.

•  Experience withAmazon WorkSpaces,Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), or similarAWS-hosted desktop solutions.

•  Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
