As we continue to grow our offshore capability in the Philippines, we are looking for QA professionals who can contribute to our current testing practices while helping us evolve toward AI-assisted quality engineering, advanced automation, and modern testing approaches.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be the kind of person who:
We are looking for a QA Test Analyst who is passionate about software quality and keen to develop expertise in automation, AI-assisted testing, and next-generation testing tools. Initially, you will work across manual testing, regression testing, test execution, and defect management within our SaaS platform. Over time, you will be expected to develop skills in automation frameworks such as Playwright, API testing, performance testing, and AI-powered testing tools. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technology, continuous improvement, and learning modern engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Testing

• Review business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
  
• Validate insurance workflows and customer journeys.
  
• Identify, document, and manage defects through Jira.
  
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and release activities.
  

Automation Testing

• Maintain and execute existing automated test suites.
  
• Assist in developing new automation scripts.
  
• Participate in automation initiatives using: FitNesse, Playwright, Selenium, API automation tools
  
• Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
  

Quality Engineering

• Support shift-left testing approaches.
  
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to prevent defects early.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve quality processes.
  
• Help establish reusable test assets across products and projects.
  
• Contribute to test data management activities.
  

Performance & Integration Testing

• Execute performance and load test activities using JMeter.
  
• Validate integrations between internal and third-party systems.
  
• Support API and interface testing activities.
  
• Assist with root cause analysis of production issues.
  

AI & Innovation

• We are looking for team members excited by modern testing approaches.
  
• Examples include: AI-assisted test case generation; AI-assisted defect analysis; Intelligent regression testing; Automated requirements reviews; Test script generation using AI tools; Self-healing automation frameworks; Quality analytics and predictive testing.

Requirements

What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 5 years software testing experience.
  
• Experience executing manual test cases.
  
• Strong understanding of software testing principles.
  
• Experience with Jira and Agile delivery environments.
  
• Strong attention to detail.
  
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively with Australian stakeholders.
  

Preferred

• Experience with automation testing.
  
• Exposure to FitNesse, Selenium, or Playwright.
  
• API testing experience.
  
• SQL and database validation skills.
  
• Experience working on SaaS products.
  
• Experience with offshore or distributed teams.
  
• Insurance industry experience is advantageous.

• Current State Skills: Functional Testing; Regression Testing; UAT Support; Jira; Confluence; FitNesse; JMeter; API Testing; SQL Queries; AI Assisted Testing
  
• Future State Skills: Playwright; Selenium; Test Automation Frameworks; AI-Assisted Testing; Prompt Engineering; CI/CD Pipelines; Azure DevOps; Git; Quality Engineering Practices; Continuous Testing
