The listing, marked up

Nothing in the wording of this listing tripped a check. The scores above still judge how complete and coherent it is.

At ASAPP, our mission is simple: deliver the best AI-powered customer experience—faster than anyone else. To achieve that, we're guided by principles that shape how we think, build, and execute. We value customer obsession, purposeful speed, ownership, and a relentless focus on outcomes. We work in tight, skilled teams, prioritize clarity over complexity, and continuously evolve through curiosity, data, and craftsmanship. We're seeking technologists and problem solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments, love collaborating with great talent, and approach every day like it's Day 1.

We're a globally diverse team with hubs in New York City, Mountain View, Latin America, and India. If you're driven by continuous learning, rapid pivots, and the challenges of building in a high-growth startup, we'd love to talk. This is more than a job, it's a journey.

We are looking for a hungry, energetic, and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team, focused on our mid-market segment. Your primary focus will be on accelerating our growth by identifying, pitching, and closing new customer accounts. You will be instrumental in turning prospects into clients, managing the full sales cycle, and driving revenue from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate New Business: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media (LinkedIn), and lead generation campaigns.

• Pipeline Management: Build, manage, and maintain a robust sales pipeline, moving leads from initial contact to closed deals.

• Client Pitching & Demos: Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients.

• Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts, handle objections, and close agreements to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Market Research: Research potential prospects to understand their business needs and identify market gaps.

• CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM software and provide regular reports on progress and performance.

• Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers (CEOs, managers).

Requirements and Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of proven success as a Sales Executive (startup experience is a plus), selling SaaS to mid-market software companies. Experience in Customer Experience and/or Contact Center is a plus.

• Sales Acumen: "Hunter" mentality with a passion for prospecting and closing net-new deals.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for pitching and negotiation.

• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office.

• Results-Oriented: Self-motivated and driven to hit ambitious sales targets.

What we'd like to see

• The "Internal Champion" Factor: Knowledge of how to navigate mid-market organizations and empower an internal champion who speaks the company's language to help position ASAPP effectively.

• Relationship First Approach: You are not just a product seller. You prioritize open dialogue and listen with the intent to meet the customer where they are and guide them to where they need to be.

• Resource Management: You know how to bring in the right resources at the right time, using the full force of the business to close a deal.

• Technical Agility: The AI market moves at lightning speed; you have the ability to master technical product knowledge quickly to stay ahead of the curve.

ASAPP is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status. How this was produced

Highlights are found by rule, not by a model: each one is a phrase matched at a known position, and every note is a template we wrote. The two scores come from a typed-decision model (Jev) that reads the listing against the official role definition and real listings for the same role, and returns probabilities rather than prose — it never writes any of the words on this page, and never chooses what to highlight.

Deterministic penalty applied to the HR score: 12 points (from 68 before penalties). Reviewed 21 Sep 2026.
