Danfoss Fluid Conveyance is seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Manager of Business Development to establish and lead a new growth-focused hunting organization responsible for accelerating market share gains across North America.

This role will be responsible for building and leading a team of Business Development Managers and Market Development Analysts focused on winning new business opportunities across national accounts, OEM’s, targeted market segments, and strategic product categories. The team will identify and pursue opportunities where Danfoss has limited or no current fluid conveyance share while leveraging existing positions in adjacent technologies such as pumps, motors, valves, and other Danfoss businesses.

The Manager will create a modern, data-driven business development engine utilizing internal business intelligence, market analytics, external databases, AI tools, and competitive intelligence to identify and prioritize opportunities with the highest probability of success.

Success in this role will require close collaboration with sales leaders, business units, marketing, engineering, product management, and our distribution partners to develop and execute winning growth strategies.

This is a remote position, preferably located near a major airport. Travel of approximately 40-50% should be expected.
