What this Job Entails:

The Field Engineer I will work closely with potential customers on a technical level to secure design-ins and support existing customers with their applications. The Field Engineer must have a solid technological base for effectively understanding the technical specifications involved in application engineering, as they provide technical support, give technical presentations, and design and modify the application systems. Along with this, they must also have good interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills for effectively communicating the technical specifications to the customers.

• Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

• Works on problems of limited scope

• Receives detailed instructions

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

• Help capture and understand customers’ technical and product requirement on battery functioning and how is it used in the terminal and host devices and ensure smooth and adequate transfer to client internal team

• Assist in administering the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals to customers

• Troubleshoot system applications on customer's request, resolving other engineering issues regarding systems application

• Build mutual trust with customers’ technical staff

• Help prepare relevant records, data, and documents for product presentations, conduct training sessions for demonstrating new products and services, and support the sales team in organizing the presentation and training of product demonstration

• Help provide technical training of consumer specific application of various engineering products in developing stage

• Other duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Builds stable working relationships internally

• Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data

• Good understanding of effective network design methodologies

• Knowledge of how to troubleshoot and assess live networks

• Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing

• Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment

• Must be able to use a computer
