Clinical Application Specialist - Radiation Oncology

Symmetrio is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist with hands-on radiation oncology experience to support the implementation, training, and ongoing clinical use of advanced radiation oncology software and technology.

This role serves as a key clinical resource for customers, helping radiation oncology teams successfully adopt and optimize solutions within their existing clinical workflows. The ideal candidate understands radiation oncology operations, treatment planning and/or treatment delivery workflows, and is comfortable working directly with physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and other clinical stakeholders.

This is a customer-facing position that combines clinical expertise, technology, training, and workflow optimization.

The ideal candidate will lives in CST, MT, OR PST time zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical application support for radiation oncology software and technology.
• Lead customer training, education, and workflow-focused product demonstrations.
• Support new system implementations, upgrades, and go-live activities.
• Assess customer workflows and recommend best practices for effective product utilization.
• Train radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and other clinical users.
• Serve as a clinical liaison between customers and internal product, engineering, sales, and support teams.
• Assist customers with application-related questions and troubleshoot clinical workflow issues.
• Support pre-sales activities when needed, including product demonstrations and clinical discussions.
• Gather customer feedback and communicate clinical needs and product improvement opportunities internally.
• Develop and maintain training materials, clinical documentation, and educational resources.
• Maintain a strong understanding of radiation oncology workflows, terminology, technologies, and industry trends.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and serve as a trusted clinical resource.
• Travel to customer locations for training, implementation, demonstrations, and ongoing support as required,

Requirements

• Degree or professional training in Radiation Therapy, Medical Dosimetry, Medical Physics, Nursing, or another relevant clinical discipline.
• Clinical experience within a radiation oncology environment.
• Strong understanding of radiation oncology workflows and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Experience with radiation oncology software, treatment planning systems, oncology information systems, imaging systems, or related technology strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in clinical applications, implementation, training, education, or customer support is preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex clinical and technical concepts to users with varying levels of expertise.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple customer priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to travel regularly based on customer and business needs.
