The Role

As a Professional Services Engineer, you will design, build and implement Cloudflare environments for BRIXIO's French-speaking enterprise and public-sector clients and help take them successfully into production.

This is a hands-on implementation role covering onboarding, migration from existing CDN and WAF platforms, WAF and DDoS deployment, Zero Trust rollout, DNS cutovers, SASE and production hardening.

You will work within properly planned and governed client projects. The Delivery Manager owns the project plan and delivery governance, while the Principal Architect provides technical authority and owns the overall design.

Your responsibility is the build, validation and client-facing technical implementation.

The client portfolio includes French banks, industrial groups, public bodies and media organisations. You will regularly work directly with their technical teams in French, explaining what you are implementing, why particular decisions have been made and how production changes will be managed.

This is not a back-office engineering role.

We are hiring at two levels:

• Senior Engineer: capable of owning a Cloudflare migration end to end and independently leading technical conversations with clients.
• Mid-Level Engineer: strong network/security fundamentals and implementation experience, with the opportunity to deepen Cloudflare expertise through structured training and certification.

What You Will Do

Cloudflare Implementation & Migration

• Configure and deploy Cloudflare environments across DNS, CDN and caching, WAF, DDoS mitigation, rate limiting, load balancing, Bot Management, Zero Trust and Access, tunnels and SASE components.
• Deliver migrations from incumbent platforms, particularly Akamai and other CDN/WAF providers.
• Handle rule translation, traffic cutover planning, staged deployment and rollback design.
• Plan and execute production DNS cutovers, ensuring a validated rollback is available at every stage.
• Build and deliver pilots and proofs of concept, from individual applications through to full production rollouts.
• Test, validate and tune deployed environments, including cache-hit ratio, latency, WAF false positives and other client-relevant performance characteristics.

Client-Facing Technical Delivery

• Lead technical working sessions with client teams in French, including workshops, configuration reviews, cutover rehearsals and go-live calls.
• Explain technical decisions, risks and implementation considerations clearly to both engineers and management stakeholders.
• Produce client-facing technical documentation in French and English, including configuration records, runbooks, cutover plans and project-closure documentation.
• Identify and raise technical or delivery risks as soon as they become visible rather than allowing them to surface late in the project.

Working Within the Delivery Model

• Work according to the project plan established by the Delivery Manager.
• Provide clear and accurate progress updates and flag potential delays or blockers early.
• Escalate architecture and design questions to the Principal Architect rather than making unapproved architectural changes during delivery.
• Maintain accurate project timesheets and record effort against the appropriate projects.
• Identify and communicate potential out-of-scope client requests to the Delivery Manager.
• Deliver a structured handover into managed services at project closure, including complete documentation, runbooks and known risks, allowing the support team to operate the environment effectively from day one.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Work with implementation engineers in Dubai and Poland, managed services teams in Morocco and the Philippines, and pre-sales and architecture teams in France.
• Use Zoho Projects and BrixioOne as the source of truth for project tasks, documentation and reporting.
• Contribute to BRIXIO's internal knowledge base and reusable implementation patterns and playbooks.
• Support managed services teams with escalations requiring deeper implementation expertise.
• Share technical knowledge across the wider delivery organisation.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Technical Foundation

You should have a strong practical understanding of:

• DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS and certificates
• Proxies and reverse proxies
• Caching and CDN mechanics
• Web application architecture
• Origin infrastructure
• Cloud fundamentals across AWS, Azure or GCP

You should be able to clearly explain what happens between a browser and an origin infrastructure and confidently troubleshoot problems across that path.

You will also need a solid grounding in web application security, including:

• WAF concepts
• OWASP Top 10
• Bot mitigation
• DDoS attack patterns
• Rate limiting

You should be comfortable using technical troubleshooting tools including:

• curl
• dig
• traceroute
• Browser developer tools
• Packet capture tools where required

You should also have scripting and automation capability using technologies such as Python, Bash or Terraform, together with experience working with REST APIs.

Experience with Cloudflare Workers is a strong advantage.

Cloudflare Experience

For the Senior position, hands-on Cloudflare implementation experience is required.

For the Mid-Level position, Cloudflare experience is a strong advantage but is not mandatory where you bring strong experience with comparable CDN, WAF or Zero Trust technologies.

Candidates coming from platforms such as Akamai or other relevant CDN/security technologies can be considered where the underlying technical foundation is strong.

Delivery Experience

Senior Engineer

• 5+ years of experience implementing network, security or cloud infrastructure for external clients.
• Demonstrated experience owning technical delivery within client-facing projects.
• Hands-on Cloudflare implementation experience.
• Ability to independently lead technical client discussions and implementation activities.

Mid-Level Engineer

• 3+ years of relevant experience in network, security or cloud environments.
• Alternatively, strong technical support or NOC experience combined with genuine implementation exposure.
• Strong technical fundamentals and the ability to develop deeper Cloudflare expertise.

For Both Levels

• Experience working within a professional services, consultancy, MSP or systems integrator environment with committed project timelines.
• Experience with production cutovers or migrations under formal change control is a significant advantage.
• Confidence working directly with external clients.

Languages

Full professional fluency in both French and English is a hard requirement.

French is the primary working language for this portfolio. You will conduct technical workshops, participate in cutover and go-live calls, and prepare client-facing technical documentation in French.

English is required for collaboration with BRIXIO's international teams and work involving Gulf and Asian accounts.

Both French and English will be assessed during the interview process.

Working Pattern

The role operates primarily during Central European working hours.

Some client migrations and production go-lives will require planned out-of-hours presence. These windows will be agreed in advance and compensated.

The position is remote from Morocco, with collaboration through the Equans IT Hub in Casablanca and occasional travel to client sites in France and elsewhere in Europe.

• Able to distinguish between genuine technical blockers and issues that simply require additional implementation time.
• Comfortable working remotely within an international team spanning Morocco, France, the Gulf, Poland and the Philippines.

Success in this role means:

• Cloudflare environments go live according to plan and perform in production as expected from testing.
• Migrations are completed without unplanned downtime and with validated rollback procedures in place.
• Clients develop confidence in your technical judgement and delivery.
• Technical documentation is complete enough for managed services teams to operate environments without unnecessary dependency on the implementation engineer.
• Project effort is recorded accurately, allowing delivery performance and invoicing to be managed correctly.
• Knowledge gained during implementations becomes reusable across future BRIXIO projects.
