About the Role

Decisiv is seeking a 1099 Content Strategy & Technical Writing Contractor to support documentation, UX copy, and in‑app content for our SRM platform. The contractor will audit our brand voice and content landscape, develop content standards and strategy, and produce help center articles, microcopy, and in‑app guidance across Zendesk, Figma, and Pendo.

This engagement includes collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to gather context and align deliverables with product releases, while maintaining full autonomy over how work is completed. Tools you may interface with include Slack, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Figma, Zendesk, and Pendo.

This is a 1099 contractor engagement. The contractor will:

This role is structured as an independent contractor (1099) engagement and is not an offer of employment. Individuals engaged in this role will operate as independent contractors and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, equipment, and business expenses. Contractors are not eligible for company benefits, do not accrue paid time off, and maintain full control over how and when the contracted work is completed, consistent with agreed‑upon deliverables and deadlines.
