Core Responsibilities

Executive & Stakeholder Discovery

• Understand enterprise business strategy and align solutions to clear business outcomes.

Process & Value Stream Design

• Map “As-Is” and “To-Be” value streams and business processes

• Identify bottlenecks and automation/AI opportunities, distinguishing full automation from human-augmented workflows.

• Quantify benefits (cycle time, error reduction, capacity, CSAT) to support prioritization.

Requirements for Data, AI & GenAI

• Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, including for AI/ML and GenAI features.

• Capture business rules, decision logic, and user journeys.

• Define data requirements (sources, quality, latency, privacy constraints).

• Specify model behavior, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop interactions.

• Address non-functional needs (performance, explainability, auditability, SLAs).

Delivery, Change & Outcomes

• Navigate complex organizational hierarchies and goals to build consensus.

• Support experimentation and rollout (PoCs, pilots), including test design, feedback loops, training, SOP updates, and communications.

• Partner with architects and developers to ensure designs meet business needs and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Own the quality and readiness of BA deliverables and coach project team members.

• Drive project outcomes by keeping alignment between business objectives, implementation, and success metrics.

AI-Enabled BA Practice & Client Relationships

• Use Generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, Glean, agents) to accelerate analysis, documentation, and solution design—letting the tech do the heavy lifting while you validate outputs, synthesize themes, and recommend future states.

• Establish, grow, and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business analysis or product development in the data and analytics industry.

• 4+ years of experience in a client-facing consulting environment.

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate interviews and workshops across multiple domains and organizational levels, translating ambiguous needs into clear, structured requirements and user stories.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex topics to non-technical stakeholders.

• Expertise in Agile life cycles and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Visio or similar).

• Hands-on experience leveraging AI to accelerate day-to-day BA activities in client delivery.

• Understanding of adoption and change management approaches and familiarity with industry-standard strategy frameworks.

• Comfortable with ambiguity, with strong curiosity for the “why” behind the “what.”

• Proven ability to coach and mentor others and contribute to reusable BA artifacts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

How this was produced

Highlights are found by rule, not by a model: each one is a phrase matched at a known position, and every note is a template we wrote. The two scores come from a typed-decision model (Jev) that reads the listing against the official role definition and real listings for the same role, and returns probabilities rather than prose — it never writes any of the words on this page, and never chooses what to highlight.

Deterministic penalty applied to the HR score: 8 points (from 66 before penalties). Reviewed 1 Oct 2026.
