About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the Account Opening funnel: how new members find, start, and book an account application with our credit union partners. Clutch already automates the decision itself — more than 80% of applications never require a human touch, whether that's a good applicant approved or fraud denied. The work now is everything around that decision. Your goal is to maximize the funnel and help our credit union partners drive more high quality, intent-driven traffic into the experience. When a credit union spends marketing dollars to bring in their members, knowing how that money performed, why, and what to do next is as critical as taking care of ones the convert.

About the Team

This role reports to the Director of Account Opening. You won't own a dedicated squad; you'll deliver your roadmap through our existing Account Opening teams. Earning their trust and setting priorities they buy into matters as much as your product judgment. We have four engineering squads that specialize in various areas of the architecture. Coordination, planning, prioritization, and execution are all critical. Our Product Team is a mix of folks in the United States and Brazil, and our engineering staff is located entirely within Brazil. We work closely together and will generally try to get the teams together once or twice a year.

What You’ll Do

Within 1 months, you will:

• Develop context about Clutch’s approach to account opening and how our product works.

• Begin meeting with partners to hear about their experiences with the product.

• Shadow implementations to see how our products are deployed and configured in real time.

Within 3 months, you will:

• Learn the account opening funnel, our credit union partners, and where applicants drop out — step by step, by partner, by channel

• Put numbers on the baseline: application completion by partner, abandonment by funnel stage, and how much campaign attribution actually exists today

• Bring leadership your first prioritized read on where the conversion and attribution gaps are

Within 6 months, you will:

• Own the acquisition and onboarding roadmap, with priorities and tradeoffs you set and defend to senior leadership

• Ship your first conversion improvement and show the movement. Our best partners convert far better than our median partner; knowing why, from which features, and driving adoption will be a primary measure of success

• Get attribution instrumentation live with the first partners — the plumbing that connects a campaign to the applications it produced

• Start the build/buy/partner evaluation of the attribution and campaign-tooling market

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of product management in a b2b or b2b2c environment, including ownership of an acquisition, conversion, or growth outcome with a number attached to your name

• Funnel work at scale: you've instrumented drop-off, run experiments, and you know the difference between widening a funnel and degrading its quality

• Working knowledge of marketing attribution and campaign measurement — UTM and event pipelines, cost-per-acquisition math, and the vendors who sell it

• You've delivered through teams you didn't control: set priorities, made tradeoffs, got buy-in across squads and senior leadership

• You pull and question your own numbers, and you've defined metrics/outcomes from scratch

• You've run a build/buy/partner evaluation and defended the recommendation

• You communicate priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders plainly

• Fintech, banking, or credit union experience is a plus; what matters is learning the domain fast

• Uses AI tooling natively as part of your product workflow

What’s In It For You?

• Remote Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom of remote work from anywhere, balancing life and career seamlessly.

• Unforgettable Off-Sites: Twice a year, bond with colleagues in exciting destinations, fostering teamwork and fresh ideas.

• Paid Time Off: Enjoy flexible PTO days yearly for relaxation and rejuvenation.

How this was produced

Highlights are found by rule, not by a model: each one is a phrase matched at a known position, and every note is a template we wrote. The two scores come from a typed-decision model (Jev) that reads the listing against the official role definition and real listings for the same role, and returns probabilities rather than prose — it never writes any of the words on this page, and never chooses what to highlight.

Deterministic penalty applied to the HR score: 8 points (from 60 before penalties). Reviewed 1 Oct 2026.
