Why this grade
This listing scored 58/100, which is a C. It lost the most ground on pay transparency.
- Description depth 20 / 20 How much the posting actually says about the work, measured in characters of real text.
- Freshness 15 / 15 How recently it was posted. Older postings are likelier to be filled or abandoned.
- Remote clarity 15 / 15 Whether "remote" means anywhere, or is quietly restricted to one country.
- Corroboration 5 / 10 Whether more than one source carries this listing.
- Role specificity 3 / 10 Whether the listing is tagged well enough to tell what the role actually is.
- Pay transparency 0 / 25 A published salary range, worth more than any other single factor because it is what a candidate cannot find out without applying.
Every figure above is arithmetic over the posting itself — its salary field, its text, its age, its tags and how many sources carry it. How the grades work →

$163k – $275k
That is the middle half of what comparable roles paid on this board over the last 90 days — 28 listings that did publish a figure, median $178k. It is not this employer's offer, and we have no idea what they pay. It is only what the rest of the market advertised.

Engineer / Equity Partner — Remote
Ambito is a CRM-connected QBR generator for B2B sales teams. The product is live, with the sales module, template engine, and CRM integrations already built.
We're looking for a founding AI engineer to make the product significantly smarter and broader. This is an equity-only role initially (10+ hrs/week), working directly with the founders and our existing technical partner.
You'll work on:
AI product features: Build a native assistant that can answer questions about customer data, surface trends, provide setup guidance, and help generate QBRs. Retrieval, tool use, structured-data queries, evals, and cost control.
Customer Success: Extend the existing framework into account reviews, renewals, and customer health.
Integrations: Harden and expand CRM/CS integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
Product: Make the overall experience faster, simpler, and more AI-native where it actually helps.
We're looking for someone who has shipped LLM features in production, not just demos, and is comfortable with retrieval, embeddings, tool calling, agent workflows, and evaluation. You should also be able to work across React, TypeScript, and Node (Firebase experience is a plus).
You should think like a product engineer: turn varied customer requests into simple, flexible systems and work independently. Sales tech / RevOps / CS experience is a plus. Boston/MA is a plus.
To apply: Send a short note with something you've built using AI and why this problem interests you. No cover letter. LinkedIn or [email protected].
