The Role

BPX is hiring a Senior CDP Solutions Architect into our Intelligent Marketing practice. You will own the technical design of customer data platform programmes for enterprise clients — from data model and identity strategy through to segmentation, activation and journey orchestration. This is a hands-on architecture role, not a slide-deck one: you run discovery with client marketing, data and IT teams, define the target-state architecture, and stay close enough to the build to unblock engineers and prove the design works in production. Twilio Segment and Adobe Real-Time CDP are our primary platforms, with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) and adjacent tooling on a growing number of engagements. On every programme you lead, you are the client-facing technical authority.

What you'll do

• Lead discovery and requirements workshops with client marketing, data and IT stakeholders, translating commercial goals into CDP use cases.
• Design target-state CDP architecture: data models and schemas, ingestion patterns, identity resolution and profile strategy, consent and governance.
• Architect and oversee integrations between the CDP and CRM, cloud data platforms, analytics, paid media and messaging systems.
• Define segmentation and activation approaches across batch, streaming and edge, chosen on use case and data readiness rather than habit.
• Design cross-channel journey orchestration and hand activation-ready audiences to campaign teams.
• Stay hands-on — build proofs of concept, review engineering work, and clear technical blockers during delivery.
• Own data quality, privacy and compliance standards, including GDPR and consent management, across every implementation.
• Mentor CDP engineers and consultants, and contribute to BPX delivery accelerators, patterns and reusable assets.
• Support pre-sales with scoping, estimation, solution shaping and technical credibility in client pitches.

What you'll bring

• Certification in Twilio Segment CDP and Adobe Real-Time CDP — both are required for this role.
• Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) certification is a distinct advantage, as are certifications in other customer data or engagement platforms.
• Seven or more years in martech or customer data, including at least three years architecting CDP implementations end to end.
• Deep hands-on command of schema and data modelling, identity resolution, audience segmentation and activation at enterprise scale.
• Strong SQL, plus working knowledge of cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure or AWS) and API-based integration.
• Experience integrating CDPs with CRM and journey orchestration tooling such as Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Braze.
• Practical grasp of GDPR, ePrivacy and consent management, including tools such as OneTrust.
• Consulting or agency background — credible in front of clients, and able to hold an architecture conversation with marketers and engineers in the same room.
• Evidence of leading or mentoring technical teams on enterprise delivery.
• Fluent English and the right to work in an EMEA country where BPX operates.

Customer data is the constraint on nearly every front-office programme our clients run, and BPX's Intelligent Marketing practice is scaling to meet it. Segment and Adobe Real-Time CDP are the two fastest-moving lines in that book, with Salesforce Data 360 close behind. This role puts you at the design end of those programmes rather than in a ticket queue — you set the architecture, then watch it run at enterprise scale across 300 customers in 10 countries.
