Why this grade
This listing scored 54/100, which is a D. It lost the most ground on pay transparency.
- Description depth 20 / 20 How much the posting actually says about the work, measured in characters of real text.
- Freshness 15 / 15 How recently it was posted. Older postings are likelier to be filled or abandoned.
- Remote clarity 8 / 15 Whether "remote" means anywhere, or is quietly restricted to one country.
- Role specificity 6 / 10 Whether the listing is tagged well enough to tell what the role actually is.
- Corroboration 5 / 10 Whether more than one source carries this listing.
- Pay transparency 0 / 25 A published salary range, worth more than any other single factor because it is what a candidate cannot find out without applying.
Every figure above is arithmetic over the posting itself — its salary field, its text, its age, its tags and how many sources carry it. How the grades work →
Design Senior Full Time
About Berny
Berny is a Melbourne-founded product company building AI-powered products for a wide range of customers. We pair deep domain expertise with the best AI tools available to solve problems conventional software can't, and we use AI as a force multiplier across our own engineering as much as we build it into the products themselves.
We're now scaling our Clark engineering function, and you'd be one of the people we're betting on to make that work.
Our values: Harmonize · Innovate · Lead.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Design Lead who will define, elevate, and maintain design consistency across multiple products. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, take full ownership of design decisions, and create high-quality, user-centered designs from concept to execution. You will play a critical role in shaping cohesive user experiences across web and mobile platforms while establishing scalable design systems, including the design language for how users and AI agents collaborate inside Berny products.
In Berny's team model the UX Designer is embedded full-time in one team and reports to the Head of Product. As Design Lead you set the standards across teams, partner with the Head of Design on hiring, and act as a force multiplier across every product team's UX work.
