About Palmstreet:
Palmstreet is a community-obsessed live shopping platform connecting over 2 million passionate collectors and sellers. Started in 2020, we have grown into one of the largest live shopping platform in the US, featuring 1000+ daily live streams.
Backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, we’re building the “World’s Online Main Street”—bringing authentic personal connections and the excitement of discovering one-of-a-kind products to online commerce.
On top of our strong US community, we’re expanding into Mexico and looking for ambitious, sales-driven talent to help build our local seller community.
The Opportunity:
Palmstreet is seeking a full-time (40 hours weekly) Category Account Manager contractor to elevate seller success and streamline category operations. This role is pivotal in managing our growing base of sellers, particularly those with strong businesses both on and off Palmstreet, and shaping the way we approach category growth and marketing.
This role primarily supports U.S.-based sellers, so professional-level English fluency with excellent written and verbal communication skills is required. This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence the growth by supporting sellers at scale and driving day-to-day operational excellence.
If you thrive in strategic execution, structure, and seller relationships; this may be the role for you! You’ll play a hands-on role in growing revenue by ensuring promising sellers get the support they need to thrive on-platform—especially in their early weeks—while also helping to implement repeatable frameworks for scalable growth.
This role sits at the intersection of category operations and account management offering broad exposure, high ownership, and clear pathways to measurable outcomes. You’ll see your work reflected in seller & category growth—and you’ll be a critical part of making the plants category not just stable, but scalable.
The right candidate must be based in Mexico.
Responsibilities:
•
Support emerging sellers who show early promise and identify existing emerging sellers with high growth potential by analyzing sales data metrics
•
Grow sellers with sizable off-platform businesses, helping them transition to scalable success on Palmstreet
•
Identify and nurture emerging and top-performing sellers by:
•
Monitoring data to surface opportunity accounts
•
Providing structured support (e.g., strategy sessions, targeted incentives).
•
Guiding seller growth
•
Develop a formulaic and scalable growth framework for these cohorts:
•
Establish seller touchpoint cadences
•
Identifying emerging sellers and proactively reaching out
•
Test incentives and motivators for sellers to promote growth on our app
•
Execute category operations with cross-functional teams
•
Manage ad-hoc seller needs and internal coordination
•
Monitor seller performance and pipeline health, escalating insights as needed
Qualifications:
•
Professional-level English fluency, with excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
•
3+ years in a high touch-point collaborative Account Manager or Category Manager role with a proven track record of success; preferably within a early stage or high growth startup, marketplace experience a plus
•
Reliable computer, smart phone and reliable high-speed internet connection.
•
Service Mindset —You are a seller(customer)-obsessed and execution-focused operator with a passion to work with small businesses
•
Strategic with a focus on operations — you possess the ability to build structure from ambiguity, and manage the daily realities of a fast-growing category
•
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage dozens of seller touch-points simultaneously
•
