This is aGCP Healthcare / FHIR Architectrole, primarily looking for someone who combines strong GCP architecture with hands-on healthcare interoperability experience.
Key Responsibilities\
• Architecture & Design:Design end-to-end cloud reference architectures on GCP to ingest, process, store, and serve clinical data utilizing HL7 FHIR standards.\
• GCP Healthcare Solutions:Implement and manage GCP Healthcare Data Engine (HDE), Cloud Healthcare API, BigQuery, Dataproc, and Pub/Sub for high-throughput healthcare workflows.\
• Data Integration & Mapping:Build pipelines converting legacy healthcare data formats (HL7 v2, C-CDA, DICOM) into FHIR resources and JSON structures.\
• Security & Compliance:Ensure all cloud architectures comply with HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR, and SOC 2 guidelines, leveraging IAM, KMS, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Requirements
• Experience:8+ years in cloud architecture, with at least 3+ years dedicated to GCP healthcare solutions.\
• FHIR Expertise:Deep working knowledge of HL7 FHIR (STU3, R4), FHIR profiling, resources, bundles, and RESTful API operations.\
• GCP Core Services:Expertise in Cloud Healthcare API, BigQuery, Dataflow/Apache Beam, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions/Run, and IAM.\
• Interoperability:Experience with legacy formats (HL7 v2, CCDA, X12 EDI) and integration engines (Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, or GCP native mapping).\
• Database & Data Modeling:Strong proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and relational data modeling for healthcare analytics.\
• Certifications:GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certification (preferred)
