About Elavate
Elavate is a multi-collagen supplement brand for women 40+, built around the changes that come with perimenopause and menopause. Our founder, Alex Philip, started it after getting fed up buying overpriced, low-quality, bad-tasting collagen for his mum.
Since launching in 2024 we've become one of the fastest-growing DTC brands in the UK, with over 35,000 five-star reviews. We launched in the US in 2026, and it's now our biggest focus for growth.
Our growth runs on video ads: UGC, influencer and celebrity talent content, made with an in-house team of creative strategists and video editors. The better the creators and the content, the faster we grow. That's where you come in.
The role
Our creative strategists write the scripts and our editors turn footage into ads. You're the person in the middle who makes the content happen: finding the right creators, briefing and storyboarding every script, running influencer and high-production shoots with our agency partners, and making sure every video that comes back is right.
You'll handle two kinds of content:
UGC: creators film themselves at home from our briefs, so the brief has to do all the directing
Influencer and high-production shoots: the two go hand in hand. We film well-known influencers and TV personalities with a professional crew, at a location picked for the look, with lighting, a teleprompter and make-up. These shoots make our long-form direct response ads, plus the hooks, product shots and B-roll that go with them
You'll work across both markets, the UK and the US, alongside our founder and creative team.
This is a communications, creators and systems role. You want to be in it every day: talking to creators, getting content made and getting deals done. Strategy experience is a plus, not a requirement.
What you'll own
Find and sign the best creators in the UK and US
Source new UGC creators every week, mostly women 40+ who come across as natural, expressive and believable on camera
Vet properly before anyone gets a brief: watch their content, judge their delivery, setting and camera skills, and only put forward people you'd bet on
Get in touch fast and keep every conversation moving. The best creators get booked up quickly, so speed wins the deal
Negotiate good deals: strong rates, the right usage and whitelisting terms, and every deliverable written in (videos, hooks, raw files, B-roll)
Keep the pipeline full so our strategists never wait on talent
Build and run our creator database
Build a database of the best UGC creators in the UK and US, and keep it up to date every week
Log every creator after every job: contact details, rates, niche, past jobs, how their content performed, delivery quality and whether we'd rebook them
Keep a bench of proven creators we can rebook at short notice
Keep an eye on creative performance in Motion, so you know which creators and videos are winning and can find, rebook and brief more like them
Run product sendouts: get product out as soon as a deal is signed and confirm it's arrived
Brief and storyboard every script
Turn finished scripts from our strategists into briefs a creator can film without guessing: a scene-by-scene storyboard, B-roll, visual direction, setting, outfits and props
Lock every brief before it goes out: one final version, a clear deadline, a reference video and links you've tested
Run a quick test clip before each full batch, so problems get caught before they cost us a refilm
Coordinate our influencer and high-production shoots
Work hand in hand with our content agency and shoot production agency: they run the day-to-day logistics on our crewed shoots, you make sure nothing gets missed
Run the threads with agents and talent managers on scheduling, call times and riders
Own the details: locations, props, product on set and a checklist to the crew before every shoot
Check content and get it live
Check every delivery against the script within 24 hours of filming: every hook, every section, resolution, lighting, framing and product shots
Post a written verdict for the team on what's good and exactly what's wrong (a thumbs-up isn't a check), so refilm calls get made fast
Once content is approved, get sign-off from the talent side, secure whitelisting access and hand clean files to our editors
How we work (read this part properly)
This is what makes or breaks the role, so we're being specific.
You're very responsive and active on Slack. This is one of the most important parts of the role. When you're online, messages get a reply in minutes, not hours, even if it's just "on it, back to you by 4pm". Slow replies are how things slip and shoots go wrong.
You own it end to end. Some of our shoots cost thousands, so you treat every one like it's your own money. Nobody checks behind you: if something's about to fall through the cracks, you catch it first.
You confirm, you don't assume. A CC isn't a confirmation. When a time, location or script changes, you confirm it directly with every person involved.
You take in the full context. You listen to the whole voice note, watch the whole Loom and read the whole thread before you act. Then you ask the questions that matter.
You close loops. Sign-offs, follow-ups and tracker updates don't sit with you. If something's blocked, you flag it before anyone has to chase you.
You turn up. Every call, on time and prepared.
You ship, then improve. A solid brief out today beats a beautiful one next week.
You build systems. If you're doing the same manual task twice, you build a workflow for it (Notion, templates, AI) so the third time is faster.
You're there when it's live. On shoot days and urgent threads, you jump online outside your normal hours if something needs doing.
You take feedback well. Direct feedback, no ego, acted on the same day.
Who you are
Must-haves
2+ years in UGC, creator or influencer coordination, at a DTC brand, a UGC or performance creative agency, or an influencer or talent agency
Fluent written and spoken English: you'll talk to UK and US creators, agents and talent managers all day, so your messages are quick, clear and polite
You can read a video script and storyboard it scene by scene, with B-roll and visual direction (we'll ask you to show us)
An eye for talent: you can tell from a creator's content whether they'll work in a direct response ad
A strong negotiator who enjoys the people side: you get good rates and the right terms, and creators still want to work with you again
You know performance marketing metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS), can read an ad account audit, and have used Motion or a similar tool to review creative performance
Confident in Frame.io and Notion
Seriously organised: calendars, trackers and checklists are your thing, and nothing gets lost with you
AI-first: you use tools like Claude and ChatGPT every day to work faster, and you know how to build simple workflows that save the team time
Sharp and quick: you pick things up first time and don't need to be shown twice
Nice to have
Creative strategy or direct response experience: writing scripts and hooks, or turning ad data into new concepts
Experience with health, wellness, beauty or supplement brands
You've coordinated crewed shoots or worked with talent agents and managers
You've built something of your own: a side business, a creator account or an agency
Pay, hours and perks
$30,000 USD a year (about $2,500 a month), full-time, as an independent contractor
3-month review against clear goals, with a pay step-up when you hit them, plus clear pay tiers so you always know what the next level takes
Remote from Latin America, with core hours agreed before you start that overlap the UK afternoon and the US working day
28 days paid time off a year
Work directly with our founder and senior creative team, on content with well-known UK and US talent
A path into creative strategy if that's where you want to grow
