Web Applications Programmer

Core Purpose & Duties

Provide high-level assistance in the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of engineering applications, intranet portals, SharePoint workspaces, and custom web designs. Program integrations and middleware to bridge the gap between distinct engineering database systems and web platforms. Standardize web-based CADD utilities and workflows across the organization to optimize collaboration.

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities

• Webmaster & Design: Serve as the webmaster for internal portal sites and provide layout and technical support for associated web assets.

• SharePoint Administration: Administer SharePoint site collections and manage secure external partner project portals for secure file sharing and collaboration.

• Resource Optimization: Manage digital training channels and structure video-based documentation repositories.

• Application & Database Development: Develop and maintain web-based Standards Applications and underlying configuration databases.

• API & Utility Customization: Program custom add-ins (such as Autodesk Vault Explorer extensions) for automated project creation and backup utilities.

• Compliance & Standards: Participate in regular compliance meetings to keep web platforms aligned with the latest accessibility, security, and design guidelines.
