We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Manager to support our client's Direct Primary Care practice. The ideal candidate brings prior hands-on experience in U.S. clinical administration, prior authorizations, and practice workflow design, with the leadership capability to establish back-office processes and communicate seamlessly with elderly patients.
Key Responsibilities
•
Process Design & Workflow Optimization: Map out, establish, and document end-to-end back-office systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•
EMR & Platform Integration: Configure and manage workflows across Elation, Spruce, and Hint—including determining proper form routing, patient intake procedures, and electronic signatures across platforms.
•
Prior Authorizations & Insurance Verification: Handle end-to-end prior authorization submissions, appeals, and coverage verifications efficiently.
•
Patient & Clinical Support: Manage patient communications with extreme patience and clarity, assist with intake forms, schedule appointments, handle medical records, referrals, and coordinate incoming/outgoing faxes.
•
Performance & Operations Management: Set up operational KPIs, manage back-office organization, and streamline daily tasks as the practice grows.
Requirements
Extensive experience in U.S. clinical/medical administrative management.
Proven track record in prior authorization processing and medical records management.
Strong background in building operational processes, SOPs, and tracking metrics/KPIs.
Exceptional Verbal Communication: Exceptionally clear spoken English to communicate effectively and patiently with an elderly patient demographic.
Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a starting pay rate of $6 per hour, depending on skill set and experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm PST.
