Job Description

Job Title: Myanmar Bilingual Expert

Job Type: Contract

Location: Remote

Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transcribe video content with precise timestamps and detailed accuracy.
  2. Identify and describe the emotional undertones and expressiveness of speakers.
  3. Analyze grammatical structures, tone, and contextual meaning within dialogues.
  4. Define and clarify complex Myanmar and English terms, capturing conceptual depth.
  5. Produce high-quality written outputs that reflect both linguistic nuance and cultural context.
  6. Support a range of advanced language tasks, including language evaluation and content annotation.
  7. Collaborate closely with a remote, globally distributed team and adhere to project guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Exceptional proficiency in both Myanmar and English, including written and verbal communication.
  2. Demonstrated experience with transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis.
  3. Deep understanding of Myanmar cultural cues, emotionality, and linguistic variations.
  4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex language data.
  5. Proficiency in digital communication and ability to manage remote work independently.
  6. Commitment to contribute at least 15 hours per week to assigned projects.
  7. Ability to clearly document and report on linguistic findings and annotations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in video content analysis or media localization projects.
  2. Academic background in linguistics, translation, or a related field.
  3. Familiarity with language technology tools and content management systems.
