We’re a small business building software in the construction space. We’re hiring a GTM Lead to own how we get customers and grow revenue. This is a hands-on role - you’ll plan the work and you’ll do the work.
The most important thing for us: you’ve seen a business grow up close and you know what it actually takes. That means at least one of these is true:
• You worked at a marketplace (a platform connecting buyers and sellers, customers and suppliers, or users and service providers) and helped it grow
• Or you were one of the first marketing or growth people at a small startup - part of the founding or early team - and helped it get its first customers and revenue
What you’ll do
• Build and run our go-to-market plan - who we target, what we say to them and which channels we use
• Find, reach and sign up customers (contractors and businesses) and keep them coming back
• Help bring partners and suppliers onto the platform
• Test channels quickly - outbound, partnerships, communities, referrals, content, paid - and double down on what works
• Do the outreach yourself: calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and follow-ups
• Set up simple tracking for leads, conversions, cost per customer and revenue
• Share results with leadership every week and suggest what to do next
Must have
• Marketplace experience, or experience as an early or founding marketing/growth team member at a startup
• A track record of bringing in paying customers - with real numbers you can talk about
• Hands-on outbound experience: cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outreach
• Comfortable with a CRM (HubSpot or similar), lead tools like Apollo, Google Sheets and Canva
• Clear spoken and written English
• Available during Eastern Time (EST) working hours
Nice to have
• Experience growing both sides of a marketplace (buyers and suppliers)
• B2B sales or business development experience
• Background in construction, logistics, e-commerce or home services
• Basic paid ads (Meta/Google) and simple landing pages
Not a fit if
• You only do SEO, only run ads or only post on social media
• You’ve only worked at large companies and have never been part of an early-stage business
How we work
Remote. Small team, quick decisions, and you’ll see the impact of your work directly. Full-time preferred, part-time considered for the right person.
To apply, send a short note on how you helped a marketplace or early-stage startup get its first customers. Real numbers matter more than a polished CV.
