Job Title: Associate Director - Commercial Pharma Reporting Operations
Engagement: Interim / Contract
Location: Remote
Role Overview
The client's Commercial Pharma Reporting Excellence team seeks a resource to cover reporting operations during a team transition. The role will support day-to-day reporting activities, cross-functional coordination, vendor management, issue resolution, and knowledge transition to ensure continuity of reporting operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day reporting operations, including report delivery, tracking, issue resolution, and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Coordinate with cross-functional business, analytics, technology, and reporting teams to manage reporting requirements and dependencies.
• Partner with external vendors to track deliverables, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution.
• Monitor reporting processes and proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Support documentation, process standardization, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Coordinate transition activities as existing team members move into new roles, ensuring continuity of critical reporting processes.
• Maintain status updates, action items, timelines, and key operational documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting processes and operational workflows.
Required Experience
• Experience in reporting operations, business analytics, reporting coordination, or a similar role within a pharmaceutical/life sciences environment.
• Strong experience coordinating across multiple business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with external vendors and managing deliverables/dependencies.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
• Experience with reporting tools, data/analytics environments, and operational processes.
• Strong documentation and knowledge-transfer capabilities.
Preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting or Reporting Excellence/Center of Excellence teams.
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience.
• Experience with transition, migration, or business continuity activities.
• Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Jira, or Confluence.
