What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of field-based commercial experience within the life sciences industry.

• Demonstrated commercial experience selling DNA/RNA sequencing technologies, including next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms, instruments, or related solutions.

• Proven experience managing and developing distributor/channel partner networks, including joint business planning, partner enablement, pipeline development, and revenue growth.

• Strong understanding of sequencing workflows, applications, and customer requirements within academic, government, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical research environments.

• Proven ability to develop territories, identify new business opportunities, and close complex, multi-stakeholder sales opportunities through channel partners.

• Strong forecasting, pipeline management, strategic account planning, and negotiation capabilities.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to influence both channel partners and end customers.

• Ability to work independently within a matrixed, international commercial organization.

• Proficiency with CRM systems and structured sales processes.

• Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Nice to Have

• Direct commercial experience with Oxford Nanopore, Illumina, PacBio, or other sequencing technology providers.

• Established relationships with sequencing distributors, research institutions, and genomics customers across Brazil and Latin America.

• Experience introducing emerging sequencing technologies or expanding market adoption within established NGS markets.

• Experience working alongside Field Applications Scientists and technical specialists to support complex sales opportunities.
