Delivery Manager / Project Manager (Credit Platform · Jira/Confluence) - Portugal Full Remote

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a well-established UK digital retail and financial services organisation at a decisive moment of its technology transformation. We’re looking for an experienced Interim Delivery Manager / Project Manager to take ownership of delivery across the Financial Services workstreams of a new Credit Platform, and guide it safely through a staged go-live.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role. You’ll step into an in-flight programme, quickly earn the trust of business and technology teams, drive decisions, and make sure every customer cohort goes live in a controlled, well-prepared way. You’ll also have room to use AI tools to improve how planning, reporting and analysis get done.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

• Large-scale transformation programme covering a new website, order management, customer service and credit platform capabilities

• The technology team delivers the Credit Platform, working closely with Financial Services business teams on regulatory, operational and business readiness

• Staged customer cohort go-live running from October through February

• Interim engagement covering this critical period, ending with a structured handover to the permanent Delivery Manager

• Day-to-day scope includes:

• Owning the delivery plan, RAID log, action tracking and senior stakeholder reporting

• Shaping plans for approvals, governance, assurance and key decision points

• Coordinating bank and regulatory assurance activity: evidence, owners, actions and timelines

• Driving business readiness across non-technical teams (processes, training, communications, readiness checkpoints)

• Supporting live proving, go-live activity and post-launch monitoring for each cohort

• Facilitating discussions, unblocking issues and keeping decisions moving across technology, Financial Services and operations

• Using AI assistants to draft status reports, summaries, RAID logs and readiness checklists, synthesise regulatory and policy documents, analyse delivery data, and build reusable prompts and templates for the team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager in technology-enabled change programmes

• Strong track record managing multiple workstreams, delivery plans, RAID logs, risks, dependencies, actions and reporting

• Solid experience in business readiness, governance, assurance and go-live delivery

• Experience supporting staged/phased go-lives, including live proving and post-launch monitoring

• Ability to step into an in-flight programme and take ownership quickly

• Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams, with the ability to influence without direct authority

• Excellent communication, facilitation and decision-making skills

• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, dashboards and reporting platforms

• Comfortable using AI tools for planning, reporting, documentation, analysis, risk identification and stakeholder communications

• Calm, pragmatic and action-driven under delivery pressure, turning discussions into clear actions and outcomes

•
Fluent English (written and spoken), as you’ll work daily with UK-based senior stakeholders

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience in Financial Services, consumer credit or UK retail environments

• Exposure to regulatory programmes or bank/regulatory assurance processes

Compensation: €2,400 – €3,200/month net, depending on experience and seniority level.
