Born from the Stanford AI Lab, Cresta has raised more than $270 million from the world’s leading investors, including a16z, Greylock, and Sequoia. Cresta’s leadership includes some of the leading minds in AI today. Our CEO, Ping Wu, founded and led Google's Contact Center AI and Vertex AI platforms before joining Cresta to build the future of AI-driven customer experiences.
Over the next few years, AI is going to redefine how people all over the world interact with businesses every day. Come build that future at Cresta.
About the role:
Cresta is hiring a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to own how developers, engineers, and technical executives evaluate and implement our AI Agent platform. You will own positioning and go-to-market for the technical layer of the platform, including Conductor, our agent for building agents, the Cresta CLI, APIs, and integrations, launching new innovations at a pace that other companies can’t match. If you are the kind of product marketer who runs your own demos, can hold your own with an engineer on evals and guardrails, and can turn that fluency into compelling, differentiated storytelling that can win over a CTO, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
• Own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for the technical layer of the Cresta AI Agent platform
• Develop the technical buyer narrative and pitch for CIO, CTO, VP Engineering, developers, and digital transformation personas, grounded in primary research
• Enable sales and solutions teams to multi-thread into technical buyers in new and existing accounts through training, plays, discovery, objection handling, and demos
• Lead technical AI Agent product launches end to end, from narrative design and asset creation through field enablement, measurement, and iteration
• Create compelling, differentiated technical content that generates demand and moves deals forward across a variety of mediums (e.g. guides, blog posts, pitch decks, videos, benchmarks, customer stories, and more)
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Partnerships to deliver new products, training, events, and community programs to technical audiences
• Serve as an external evangelist through webinars, hackathons, and content that the audience actually wants to read
• Partner with Product and Engineering to bring market, competitive, and customer signal into roadmap prioritization
• Track the competitive landscape closely and sharpen how we differentiate against agent-native competitors
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of product marketing or solutions marketing experience, including time spent marketing to technical buyers, developers, or engineers
• Demonstrated technical fluency: deep understanding of AI agents, comfortable demoing new features, and able to objection-handle technical topics (e.g. evals, context windows, guardrails)
• Proven track record owning positioning and messaging for a platform, API, or developer-facing product
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional launches from strategy through execution
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the range to hold a room of engineers and a room of executives
• Strong research and analytical instincts, and the judgment to turn customer and competitive input into a clear point of view
• Ability to run several priorities at once and apply the right level of effort to each
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and speed, and a bias toward building rather than waiting for a brief
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background marketing AI/ML, LLM, or agent infrastructure products
• Experience launching a developer platform, developer ecosystem, or technology partner program
• Contact center, customer experience, or CCaaS domain knowledge
• Hands-on experience building with agent frameworks, or comfort writing light code
• Experience creating a technical certification, academy, or curriculum program
• Experience at a hypergrowth startup competing against a better-known incumbent
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
