Inside Sales Representative - Work from Home in New Jersey

Summary

Inside Sales Representative supports the Sales teams in building a customer base for solar panel system installs.

Essential Job Functions

• Contact potential customers by telephone to promote the PosiGen value proposition
• Explain the benefits of the PosiGen solar power and energy efficiency program to potential customers
• Adhere to and deliver scripted sales material, program and promotional pricing details over the phone
• Meet and exceed required performance metrics, including results and activity requirements
• Accurately qualify homeowner’s for solar power and set future in-home appointments for further information with outside sales representatives
• Answer inbound telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements
• Contact customers to follow up on initial interactions

• Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Ability to transfer enthusiasm and confidence over the phone
• A ‘no hesitation’ attitude towards phone calls
• Ability to follow management direction and take constructive feedback

Education/Experience

• High School diploma
• Min 1-2 years of experience in Customer Service role
• Demonstrated strong conflict resolution experience
• Knowledge of solar power energy field is preferred
• Construction industry knowledge preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point)
• Experience using salesforce.com is preferred
• Bi-lingual is plus
• Must be flexible and able to work weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
