The listing, marked up

Nothing in the wording of this listing tripped a check. The scores above still judge how complete and coherent it is.

About the role

The Associate Project Manager will support the Performance Optimization Group (POG) team that manages vendor relationships and procurement for our Fortune 500 telecommunications client's retail store network. The APM owns a high volume of break/fix procurement orders for the client's authorized retail dealers from intake through closeout including obtaining vendor quotes, checking pricing against contract rates, building dealer quotes and invoices, and tracking orders in Smartsheet.

This job is part of the Project Management function. The APM will work remotely with a five-member procurement team to support stakeholders including vendor dealers, project managers, and finance partners.

What you’ll do

Own Break/Fix procurement requests from authorized retail dealers from intake to closeout. Review intake forms, confirm scope, and follow up with dealers for missing information.

Request vendor quotes for signage, fixtures, flooring, ceiling and lighting, seating, and other store products. Check each quote against contract pricing before it goes to the dealer.

Build dealer quotes and invoices with the correct markup, collect deposits and prepayments, and confirm dealer approval before releasing orders to vendors.

Issue commitments to vendors and track surveys, deliveries, and installs against category SLAs. Follow up with vendors when dates slip and document the new commitment.

Reconcile vendor invoices against approved quotes, resolve billing differences, and close out completed orders with finance.

Keep order tracking in Smartsheet and work orders in Corrigo accurate and current, including status, vendor and dealer amounts, approvals, and key dates.

Report open orders, aging, and SLA status to POG leadership, and flag orders at risk before they miss a date.

Help improve intake forms, templates, and team processes as volume grows.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company values. Communicate complex information clearly to dealers, vendors, and internal teams.

Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to meet deadlines while applying sound judgment to routine challenges.

What you’ll need

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Instead of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Smartsheet experience is strongly preferred. Experience with Corrigo or similar CCMS work order system is beneficial.

• Previous procurement, purchasing, order management, or vendor management experience preferred, ideally in retail, facilities, or construction.

• Experience with vendor quotes, purchase orders, invoices, and markup math.

• Ability to manage a high volume of orders simultaneously while maintaining data accuracy and tracking delivery deadlines.

• Ability to read product specifications, brand standards, and basic drawings is beneficial.

• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality, and comfort holding vendors to their commitments.

*SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

*On-site presence and requirements may change depending on our client's needs*
