Closure helps law enforcement search evidence and solve crime. We build digital analysts that support public servants at every level of criminal justice.

Public servants across the U.S. use Closure to expedite investigations into cold cases, homicides, gang conflicts, sexual assault, and other serious offenses, as well as critical administrative support.

We’re live with police departments, prosecutors, sheriffs, state investigative agencies, and other criminal justice stakeholders across the country, reducing evidence overload across the criminal justice system.

Closure is an intentionally tight-knit team of ambitious ex-Palantir and ex-IDF engineers and operators. We operate with high speed, high integrity, high autonomy, and low ego (or so we like to think), backed by reputable investors including Y Combinator, CRV, Pathlight, and others.

Role Description:

We’re looking for a Forward-Deployed Product Manager to work directly with public safety users, turn their needs into product workflows, and shape how our AI platform supports investigations in the field.

Half-builder, half org mapper, half user whisperer (yes, this will take 1.5x effort), you can win both hearts and minds, and build workflows—driving the future of Closure in direct contact with our users.

This is not a back-office, armchair philosopher, or support function: this is core to our product integrity, vision, and customer footprint. First-principles thinking about ideal user experiences is a must, but must be met with execution—directly with customer deliverables, SteerCos, product mockups, and on customer trainings.

Your work here matters to how AI is adopted by public safety agencies.

• Excellent Communication: You are able to communicate ideas with executive stakeholders and line-level users alike, both verbally and through clear artifacts and deliverables, often in-person.
• Analytical: You solve hard problems, and use tools to solve them; while not a data scientist, you figure out how to do data analysis or other technical things.
• Mission-Driven: You’re excited to contribute to public safety and improving the effectiveness of U.S. law enforcement and prosecutors.
• Owner Mentality: You take responsibility naturally, don’t wait to be asked, and feel uncomfortable when things are sloppy or unclear.
• Low-Ego, High-Standards: You’re happy to do the “unsexy” work if it moves the company forward.

Location:

• New York City (Preferred)
• Bay Area, California (hybrid work arrangements available)
• Remote with regular travel for exceptional candidates
• Travel: 25-75% of the time

  • Salary: $135k-$190k, with potential for significant adjustments based on experience and ability
