Our story
Magic Eden became one of the fastest companies in history to reach unicorn status, just 9 months after launch. Built on a foundation of crypto-native expertise and in-house engineering, we moved fast and proved the model. Now we’ve taken that same energy into our next chapter: Dicey, our crypto casino and sportsbook platform disrupting the $180B+ iGaming and sports betting markets.

The role
As our HR Operations Lead, you’ll run the day-to-day of people operations across a globally distributed team. You’ll be the go-to person for how things work here, from someone’s first day to their last, including the conversations that need care and discretion. You’ll report to the COO and work closely with Recruitment, IT and Finance. This is a hands-on role, with a clear path to shaping and growing our HR function as the company scales.

What you’ll do

• Run onboarding and offboarding end to end, in close partnership with Recruitment and IT.

• Own Rippling as our HRIS, keeping employee data accurate and workflows running smoothly.

• Manage our Deel EOR workforce, including onboarding, contract changes and day-to-day contact with Deel.

• Support employees across our US, UK and Australian entities, making sure contracts, leave and local requirements are handled correctly.

• Administer benefits across regions, including US Open Enrollment alongside our broker.

• Partner with Finance on payroll, making sure starters, leavers and changes are captured accurately and on time each cycle.

• Handle sensitive employee matters, including performance conversations, exits and investigations, with discretion and sound judgment.

• Be the first point of contact for employee questions on policies, leave, benefits and paperwork.

• Document and tighten our HR processes so they scale across countries and time zones.

What you bring

• 5+ years in HR operations, ideally at a fast-moving, globally distributed company.

• Experience handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment.

• Hands-on experience with Rippling or a similar HRIS.

• Experience managing an EOR workforce, ideally through Deel.

• Working knowledge of Australian employment requirements, with exposure to the US (and ideally the UK) a strong plus.

• High attention to detail and a track record of making things run reliably.

• Clear, warm written communication, and comfort working across time zones, with enough flexibility to overlap with US and UK hours.

Bonus points

• Experience in crypto, Web3 or online gaming.

• Experience supporting US employees and benefits.

What you get

• A small, senior team where your work is visible and valued.

• Competitive compensation and equity package.

• Flexible leave.

• Remote-first company.
