AREO, founded in January 2023 by a team with 20+ years1 of combined experience in retail and startups, is a young2 startup specializing in developing innovative solutions for supermarkets and grocery stores.
Our B2B SaaS platform optimizes employee workflows by providing real-time access to inventory, product information, and customer inquiries. We serve large supermarket chains in Germany and across the EU.
We have already hired two backend developers through "HN - Who is hiring?" and are now seeking an Engineering Manager (Ruby on Rails) with at least 8 years of experience (preferably in startups). We recently signed another large contract with a major retail chain, are growing quickly, and expect to close a pre-seed funding round in the next few days.
For the Engineering Manager role, professional proficiency in German is required, and you must be based in the EU.

We are also seeking a Robotics Engineer to work from our robotics lab in Bremen, Germany.
