Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We help individuals from around the world connect with great companies that are looking for their specific skill set. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.

Our client is a fast-growing eCommerce brand specializing in action camera mounts for motorcycle, motocross, mountain biking, cycling, snow sports, automotive, and other action sports. We move fast, work smart, and we believe in ownership. We’re a lean, action-focused team where results matter, autonomy is earned, and great ideas can come from anyone.

As a Video Editor, you’ll turn raw footage from our team and creators into high-performing paid ads, UGC, and organic social content. You’ll edit for attention, retention, and conversion while helping us maintain a consistent flow of finished creative. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives in the timeline, works quickly, and understands what makes people stop scrolling, keep watching, and buy.

Responsibilities:

  • Create scroll-stopping video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube that capture attention and drive conversions.
  • Transform raw footage into compelling, high-performing ad creatives.
  • Experiment with different hooks, angles, and editing styles to create multiple ad variations.
  • Craft engaging edits with strong storytelling, fast-paced cuts, captions, text overlays, sound effects, and transitions.
  • Edit UGC-style ads, product demos, testimonials, and voiceovers that feel natural and relatable.
  • Understand what makes people stop scrolling, stay engaged, and take action.
  • Use performance feedback and creative insights to continuously improve ad content.

Requirements

  • At least 1–2 years of experience editing short-form ads, UGC, or social content
  • A strong portfolio or editing reel is required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or comparable editing software
  • Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, and short-form storytelling
  • Ability to produce a high volume of edits without sacrificing quality
  • Strong organizational skills for managing footage and project files
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to take feedback and apply it consistently
  • Self-directed, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong written and spoken English
